Hi guys, I just got a message from Alan Thoresen ( www.blackthunder.co.nz ) last night about a friend of his - Bill Hamilton - who had his.....

2008 Suzuki Hayabusa - Colour Blue with Gold wheels (which is fairly rare) - Registration 65ZMN :angry2:

......stolen from his Auckland Garage in Hillsborough Road area, sometime yesterday afternoon.

Bill Hamilton is currently running second, behind Alan Thoreson in the NZDRA Modified motorcycle competition.

Guys, please keep your eyes peeled!

If you see any bikes that look like this, please report it immediately to the NZ Police.

Thanks, Grant Smith

Looks like the bike I saw in the Greenlane Countdown parking lot around 5pm (I didn't see the rego). There was a guy milling around (guarding?) it making notes in a book/note-pad and making phone calls - police perhaps?

I received a phone call from Alan Thoresen this morning & he was pleased to advise that a member of the public reported a burglary in progress & the police arrested them & found all the bike gear, including Bill Hamiltons Helmet/Leathers in their boot!!

After further questioning, the bike was located in the Greenlane - McDonald's Car Park, it had been dropped, but only minor damage done! :bleh:

This is great news for Bill Hamilton, his bike is worth around $28k, after modifications & thanks to a vigilant member of public  the bastards were arrested & I hope they get punished big time, although the useless judges in this country will probably let them off............that's another story.

Thanks to all of those who have replied to this thread.

Cheers, Grant

Nice one. However, don't Hayabusa have immobilizers? Or maybe they don't...

That's good news.

BTW, I hear that Barry Hart is already on the defendants' case, now that he's down a client.

just wondering- what could be the punishment given to thes indescribable, thieving cunts?

What would they get? That is an absolute fuckload of money being taken, surely they get something?

Fuck this pisses me off!

Good to hear about the bike in the end, fantastic!

Good to hear about the bike in the end, fantastic! My bet is community service, cause they have no job to pay a fine (which they wont do anyway) Then it will tag on to the other PD (opps they don't use that word no more, it's wrong to say that) they have already racked up and then some do gooding mmmnmnnmmmmttttnnnnnffffkkkkkrrrr will stand up two yrs down the track when he has racked up more PD and probo the twat to a church group so he does diddly !
Meanwhile Bill has a bike back in his possesion that may have had the death rev, bad luck, no insurance ! grrrrrrrrrrrr Can only hope it broke his wrist when he dropped it !

Yeah if you see some guy riding it make sure you knock him off and hit him plenty of times.
