Do you ever get the feeling somethings going to happen but ignore it then low and behold shit happens....

Did the Pukekohe open test day today and even driving there I didn't feel in a riding mood but I was due to meet some of my sponsors there for the day so I drove on.

Arrived at the track before the guys i was meeting and went out for the first session just to 'warm up'

Did a few laps and saw the fresh new surface at the hairpin that feel lovely and smooth on the race line.

Four laps in and only running track day pace I got to the hairpin behind a guy on a GSXR1000 and with the speed differential i just thought I'd ride around the outside as I've done on so many Pukekohe track days.

Seems the new surface was not keen on my idea and i lost the front.....:argh:

Bike has smacked itself quite hard on the kerb and boy am I a pissed off bunny!!!!!

I so wish I'd just gone to work today........

Probably not gonna make you feel a lot better but at least YOU weren't smacked hard into the kurb eh?

I hate that feeling and avoid the bike whenever I have it. Last time I felt it Sully was late home and I found him in hospital.

At least you didn't end up in hospital needing an operation on your wrist (broken in 6 places) 6 weeks before nationals starts...
