WTF has happened to the transporter series. The first two were pretty good, not exactly ground breaking but a good watch.

But I'm watching The Transporter 3 and it's fucking shit.
A stupid bloodnut that can't stop looking at Jason Statham like a crappy pornstar, the most cliche movie sound track I've heard since Biker Boyz (actually, worse), and editing/Camera shots to match.

I mean he actually just jumps on the first pushbike on the street he sees, does all kind of tricky shit like a pro and then actually slides down the handrail of the huge stair set on the pegs? And then two wheels a car (god knows how it got that way) between two trucks on the flat highway, kicks the crap out of about 20 thugs, while catching his jacket each time it's about to hit the floor, then somehow just sees a random rose in the mechanics work shop and drops it in the big dude's pit he's lying in?

Anyone seen it? It's a bit (ok a LOT) of a joke:spanking:

Thats hollywood movies for ya, but i personally think biker boyz was the most worst movie ever and i know for sure the person who made the movie had never ridden a motorcycle. It was a joke, and hurtfull to wacth, but transporter 3 is alright ive seen the shorts for it it seemed quite a good movie but obviously a tad to unrealistic or hollywood.

Let's just say the director was stuck somewhere between topgun and any D grade early 90's movie. Robbert Knepper was pretty good though.

But wholy shit - He dives through his closed car window and one point, but the next time people shoot at his car the windows are bulletproof. He actually bleeds air out of the tire while underwater and breathes it in when ever he needs a breath?

Really?? Like in the second one where at one point he had a bomb strapped to the bottom of his car so he drives it up a ramp, the car flips in mid-air and a crane hook scrapes the bomb off just in time? Oh, and the car flips back and he lands it.

I guess it wasn't 'bad', just... a tad unrealistic.

They are meant to be the action movie equilivant of a cartoon, and just sticking to tradition in having the third instalment suck arse.

They may have got too over the top, won't have an opinion till I see it, But I fully expect it to suffer badly from its own weaknesses. The second one was redicules in just about every fashion.

Crank on the other hand was perhaps the greatest movie ever made, I hear they have made a sequel and he has a plastic heart, Now....that will suck. It should have been a one movie wonder.

Well the first two, like I said were nothing special, but they were pretty good action movies if you aren't intending to take it too seriously. But T3- I was thinking I was watching the spoof by mistake. I mean, whiteout 30 times a minute, cheesy techno/rap...
It was obvious in the first 5 mins that picking a new director was a mistake. But hey, I shouldn't care this much, I'm just trying to be more discerning for film class ahahaha

Some little birdy told me that it's worth it just for the manly eye candy - I wouldn't know who the guy was if I fell over him in the street...google!

Just watched that one, I enjoyed it, But fuck me they take some giant leaps into implausibility land. Might as well be a fantasy movie. Throw in a dinosaur and some time travel.

Amazing how in movies when cars are racing they can always find another gear (either up or down,it matters not,as long as we get a camera shot of a gear stick being moved) and "punch it", You would think they would have already been going as fast as they could seeing as they were there to compete in a damn race.
