I notice we haven't had/run a spanner night for bloody yonks.
It just so happens I have a bike bench and a goodly sized gargre in the evenings.
I'm thinking basic stuff like chain tension oil change etc.
Anybody keen??

most definitely! Not immediately though, as I need to get the kawasaki sorted out first.

A cracking Idea!

I had been riding dirt bikes for 5 years before anyone told me that air filters need cleaning after every ride!!!:crybaby:

Great idea, Frosty! I've been muddling through, learning as I go, trying to follow poorly photocopied manuals, but it would be great to learn some stuff properly!

Yes.

I was just thinking about this thread this morning when my chain was rattling and clattering through my commute. So who's going to teach me to adjust it then?!

Yes.

Motorcycle Doctors (George) taught me how to do it properly. Easy when you know how, but you have to check for tight spots, because if you get the tension right for one spot, it might be way too tight at another point.
We had a kind of spanner night at frosty's garage after the NASS last week, and I think we'll be doing that again.
He also says it's sweet to go there most weekends, just PM him.
Great to have helpful people like him around who give of their time, expertise, and even premises to help others.

Um sorry for those that missed it--I thought the people most interested would be those at the nass so I ran it last wendsday night.
happy to run the same thing again if anyones interested preferably with a copresenter for when I get a bit tonge tied.

Oh... I missed it...

would definitely be interested in another one. It's about time I did a few things to my bike but I don't really know where to start.
