Bay MC's yearly rally.

Here some selected pics. I was hoping for custom bikes, but not much on offer. One purchased custom HD, the attached Indian and some with minor changes was what I found.

My favorite is the black early evo with kick. Raw, basic and mean.

There was also a sign of the harder times. A tendency to share the transport, and a move to ones that gives more mileage for the buck. (Sadly a beer in my hand made that I missed the one where 5 ladies (yep, 5!) shared a ride with the grinning owner).

Making a rough estimate I put the headcount at 3,000 and the bikes at 700. But it is just my estimate, and I allow for an error of +/- 6.66%.

The "Sob Story" entry went to a guy aptly named Crash. Yep, he had crashed and spent his time drunk in the tent to keep the pain away. I also did see a chap doing a burnout and snapping his drive belt.

5 chicks on a bike , i havent seen that ever, is the bike the triumph 600 or the triple 1000 it looks so small with them all on it.
looks like it was fun though.

And last (but not least) the girls do their stuff. The obligatory wet T-shirts and Jelly wrestling.

Yep, the weather was good (but it was in HB so...) the club did a good job, the bands played well. And we all had a laugh at the two guys who went up on the stage with the strippers. The first one jumped down when they wanted to take his pants off. The second one was more brave, but he will have scars for a while... the belt they used to whip his white azz whit had studs, and the candle wax that was dripped on his chest came from 4 candles... But he will not have to shave his chest for a while after they put him on fire...

Add to that very reasonable prices on drink and food, no attitude (as far as I could see) and it was a good time.

I saw the Cambridge Shed crew enroute to the rally at the Tarawera pub on Saturday. Hot hot hot day, lots of bikes stopping in on their way from Taupo.

Hi Tink Here!!! Thanx for the comments....Yes the polishing wheel will soon be wonr out! Just started the rest of it now & fabricating a rad cover. After the winter the frame and arm is next! Off to the thames meet in 2 weeks so needs some more shine by then! Speed safe! Tinkz

A very tidy trike and top workmanship. Did she consider removing the original rear fender, seat and backend when having the axle, wheels, suspension etc. fitted?
