View Full Version : A request - help keep London's bus lanes open to bikes

Hi All,

Hope you don't mind me doing this - but the biking community needs all the help it can get against the cycling lobby, who are working hard to get us kicked back out of bus lanes.

The transport authority in charge of the scheme to allow bikes in bus lanes has put together an online survey about bus lane use. Thankfully, they don't want addresses and that sort of thing! It will take less than 5 minutes to complete:

https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/finesandregulations/motorcycleinbuslanes/default.aspx

So... if you're a Brit on holiday - or know British bikers (they might not have seen the above survey) - please get this filled in. As I say, the cycling lobby are rallying to get us kicked out of 'their' lanes, so we need all the help we can get.

Thanks for your time,

Bob

Had it occurred to you that someone may mention that you've posted up here and that would not help your case.

So in assume you are posting up for all the Brits that are traveling in case they missed this important bit of news that will effect them when they get back from hols.

Good point, well made. Text amended to make it 'Brit-centric'
