Cliffhanger Hillclimb 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The King of the Cliffhanger title is up for grabs again.

March 14 and 15 - Gladstone, Wairarapa.

The current King, Jay Lawrence unfortunately looks to be out of action this year.

Who will step up and stake their claim to the throne ?

The flier can be viewed here. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=92126

Don't delay in entering as last years was a full house, and places will be limited.

You can also visit www.cliffhanger.org.nz for more info, previous years results, and a video of a run up the hill.

Also, if anyone is keen to enter and unsure which class, please ask me.

Basically the two cliffhanger classes are for the serious competitors who want to go for the prizemoney and the glory.

Support classes are also on offer.

A rally will also be held nearby - music, food and alcohol will be available. More info on this later.

This was awesome last year!! Get in there folks.
Also if you're keen to get involved but don't have the man tonsils to enter, you could always volunteer to help. (I assume you'll need some helpers Deano)

Yeah thanks Trudes.

Helpers needed - marshals, sausage sizzlers, timekeepers etc.

Please let me know if you can help.

Do you need a current driver's licence to do this race Deano?

No - the road is closed under the LGA 1974 so no civil licence necessary.

It will be good to see you there and have a catch up mate.

There will be an associated rally up the road you can camp at too. Bring a few of the Orkland crew down with ya as well.

Hopefully Mayor Gary will have sorted out the worst of the road surface issues by then.
