A system has been devised which, if your bike is stolen allows it to be tracked using GPS technology.
The Phantom motorcycle tracking system – a black box filled with resin to ensure vibration and water will not cause a problem. If the bike goes missing, then the owner simply logs onto the Asset Assured website, enters their PIN number – and checks the location of their bike. The bike’s location will be displayed on screen, using the Ordinance Survey Mapping system.
Apparently, if the owner decides to call the police, then Asset Assured “will be pleased to assist with the procedure”.
Security specialists Thatcham have awarded the Phantom ‘Q’ class approval.
