Go Mr Corser, go Suzuki. About time the man had a good m/cycle.

That GSXR looks stunning in the Alstare Corona colours.

Should be a top series this year now that all the major manufacturers (of sports bikes) are back. Roll on Saturday night. I've got the TV and video recorder booked!!

I wouldn't go that far.

Any nation that builds an amazing motorsport facility, in the middle of fucken nowhere, for the sole reason of seeing some world class racing, EVEN though it's comercially not worth a cent, is allright by me.

Ended up being a two part race after rain fell after 10 laps, the second 8 lap sprint was in the dry however.
Cardosa, who qualified on the front row, never made the start as bike woulnt fire. Chili, too on a Honda also pulled out as the race started.
So we had a top 10 of 2 Suzukis, 2 Ducatis, 2 Hondas and 4 Yamahas, nice stuff!

Good race this one, Corser faded after complaining of problems with his front tyre. Kagayama, very impressive, he'll be a good bet this year :niceone:
Awesome race from 4th to 10th, Pitt seemed to be holding them up. Big crash on first lap took out Cardosa and Bostrom among others.
Guys like Abe, Gimbert and 21 year old German Max Neukircher looked good and very fast. Unfortunately the next round is about 5-6 weeks away at Philip Island!

This was a bizarre race, Charpentier qualified over a 1 sec a lap quicker than the rest of the field and when Fujiwara bogged on the start line it really should have game over for every one else. Sebastien had a 5.5 sec lead after 5 laps and was threatening to run away with it, except Kat was a mission and came from dead last to second in those 5 laps, he eventually reeled his team mate in and clearly their were no team orders and they really did look like they may both end up in the kitty litter at one stage. Eventually Fujiwara got on top and eased away, business as usual for Ten Kate Honda with another clinical 1, 2. Be interesting to see if anyone else is able to mount a challenge this season.

Good summary(ies) Gav. Some interesting racing. I was a bit disappointed with the Hondas in the Superbikes, but happy to see the Suzuki boys going so well.

I was impressed with Laconi's efforts. I got the impression that he was probably having to try harder than the Suzuki twins. Can't see the Ducatis having the total domination of old. As I said previously I was surprised that the Hondas weren't more competitive, having a good season under their belt already. Damn those Suzukis look really fast.

Mr Fujiwara was pretty amazing in the Supersports. Can't see how you can win that championship unless you are riding a Ten Kate Honda.

What do you reckon for the season? Looks as if the Suzuki has the advantage in Superbikes, and the Honda in Supersports.

Glad to see the Suzuki's finally breaking up the Duke's hold. Shame about the Hondas though.

Arabs aren't the only ones to get twitchy over advertising alcohol. When Wales played France over the weekend (did I mention Wales won - woohoo) they had to change the sponsors logo on their shirts from Brains (a gorgeous Welsh beer brand) to Brawn. Forget the fact that the French are wine guzzling, 50 a day surrender monkeys.

How about this for an idea, ship all the French into Arab countries then build a huge wall to keep the fookers in and the rest of the world safe?

PC - what the fork is that bollox all about?
