My concern would be parts for say, the gearbox, not now but in 3 or 4 years.

Hows the new bike Rupe?! Did the GNCC on it?

There are dealers in Auckland, and through out NZ that stock all the parts for these bikes, and at same price as other brands. Even spectrum who aren't a dealer will get the parts. It used to be a problem, but not any more as they have a different main supplier. Or just order them from overseas and maybe pay less.

Also most parts crossover with jap bikes, or ktm's

Gassers get a bit of a bad rep from people who don't know about them, or tried to deal with a dickhead reseller (a shop just out of auckland rings bells....).

Like Rupe said, alot of the parts cross over to the jap bikes. You wouldn't have any troubles with parts in a few years.

On a side note. I've had a ride on the bike and found it really easy to ride. Its more mellow that the CR (as you would expect) but over its main competition the KDX, it pisses all over it and then some. I think that if you like the XR200 you'd love the gas gas.

Steve Lloyd at Triple X Moto in east tamaki does gasgas bits and iv found him personally to be very friendly and helpful.
The gasgas hater thing is annoying, some of my mates who do motocross abuse me for my gasgas, they may pass on the straights but not in the tight stuff :jerry:

Looks primo but I just scored myself a KX125, can't wait to give it a burl on Sunday at the Port Waikato Sunset Trail Ride. Why is it called the sunset ride when it finishes at 3pm?

Cause it takes until sunset to get the last of the bodies out.....

It's a great ride, you will really enjoy it but watch some of the steeper downhills, I managed to endo the 200 several times down there.

Ok this has almost nothing to do with anything but..
Does anyone know what the dark greasy stuff on the rear rotor is caused by, look in the photo in the ad, im sure its the same as what happened to mine after riding at woodhill, it rubs off fairly easily but iv never had it happen before is it normal?
