Not me, but for extra motivation here's a classic wheelie pic - Doug Domokos on the Kawasaki 1300 and as a bonus Graeme Crosby power standing his legendary Z1R race bike.

Apologies for being slightly left of topic but thought some of you might appreciate these. :)

I belive Doug domokos broke the tail light landed it and rode it away from that. Jimmy used to have a poster of that from front on. Alot of bike to be doing 12's on.

Speaking from personal experience the ZG1300's (fuel injected) were much easier to wheelie than the Z1300 (carburetted) though there were only a handfull or less of those brought into NZ. There was a bit of a knack to getting the big Z up as the carbied ones had a bit of a flat spot right where you needed the extra oomph, not impossible though as I can attest to (on a somewhat smaller scale than Mr Domokos) I'm pretty sure I remember Croz pulling a few up and down the road outside Laurie Summers years ago on one as well.

Yeah, the tail light smashing was his little party trick on the 13!

here's another couple of impressive wheelies on unlikely bikes....
Oh and for good measure another of Croz aboard the Suzuki :)

Lol. Your old man's getting old mate, that's almost how it happened.

He conned me into doing it on the piss is right. Then him and Chrissy and the boys fucked off for a tour of the North Island, the plan being to get the winning shot when they returned.

The day they got back I totalled my best mates TL1000S playing silly buggers. It wasa decided then that discretion is definitely the better part of valour and that we perhaps lay off writing other peoples bikes off for a while.

Certainly keen for a re-match on whatever he's got now though :)

Not so much strange as unique. If you get the opportunity you ought to try and ride one...very educational.

The guy that designed the "RADD" steering system, James Parker, is currently working on a GSXRadd-1000 that incorporates an improved hub steer set up.

The "RADD" setup separates the functions of steering, suspension, and braking that make forks a "compromise" solution.

I cannot say that I am a huge fan of ABS on bikes..on both my GTS's I have disabled the HCU for the rear brake.

Hope that answers your question..although I still don't really think it was a question as much as a provocation.

Attached pic is James Parker at last years GTS rally in Gunison (USA) with 2 of his prototypes, and a number of GTS'es

I don't try to wheelie in public - only when alone. :baby:
I am sure if I tried in public I would stuff it up big time and someone would be bound to video it and i would live in shame forever. Here is a pic of me NOT trying to wheelie and stuffing that up too.

Woot my work is famous :D Well slightly better known at least.
