Hola,

2nd post at KB, put one on the sportsbike forums. Currently riding a old zzr1100, and on the hunt for a 01 or 02 Buell x1 or cyclone or xb12s, all of the above must have rowdy pipe. Also considering cagiva raptor 1000, as they do it for me as well. Love the big heavy zzr but want something a bit lighter, and missing the V twin shake and noise. Have owned a few Duc's in the past, all aircooled (monsters, superlight), and luved them but needed a few more horsie's, which led me to the inline 4's. There seem to be a few Buell's down on the mainland, but living nor west of Akl not much use. Have about 10k to play with plus the zzr to trade or sell (although we know how shops rip you on trade ins). Anyway luvin the forum, doing lots of reading up on owners with Buells. Cheers

Welcome to the site.

$10k opens up some options... Are you after a naked or faired with clip-ons? Is the cagiva raptor 1000 engine from the Suzuki SV1000 (as is the raptor 650 from the SV650?) If so, you can get a great SV for under $10k.

Thanks for the welcome to KB. Davebullet more after the Cagiva rather than a SV1000. The Raptor has the TL1000 motor, I assume the SV is the same motor but I could be wrong, I remember once before many years ago when I was wrong. The reason I have to go with the Buell or Cagiva is that I have duck's disease, so anything over a 790-800 seat height is a pain, which rips my nightie as there are so many cool machines no good for me cause of that. Anyway the search continues..........
