Greetings,
After some discussions with with Kart Club prez and Skunk there's some change to the next meeting dates.
The next one that was 1st March is now on 22nd of March.
The 15th of March club day has been canned due to clashing with the Cliffhanger Hillclimb.
However, all is not lost as this is now a BUCKETS-ONLY day !!!!
So,...all of you out of towners are more than welcome to attend.
Cost will be $40.00 and all of the time details are posted on the bucket website - http://www.bucketracing.co.nz/index.php?pg=events
There will be an A, B & possible C class. We will most likely run 10 laps like normal.
The tuckshop will be open to serve hot food, drink etc.
See you there :scooter:

For the one's who are hanging out for a ride why can't we run on the 15 ? sure there is a hill climb on but I'd rather ride a bike than watch one! at this rate we will never get their. The 22nd is cool but you wont see me there as due to the LAST calender dates some of us have arranged other things.:angry2:

errr,....excuse me ?
did you see me on my fine Moto Guzzi exotica today?
Onto bucket stuff....with the 15th,...if there's not enough bikes we won't run it. We don't want to appear to be disorganised to the Kart club.
Just bear in mind the 22nd is the 1st points round and the 15th is only a "ensure you're riding okay for the 22nd" day ;)
Bayden won't be riding ( he's not for a couple of months) but may come out to help with admin stuff (good on him :) ).

If funds allow I'll do the 15th as well. At this stage the 22nd is the only one in my budget.

Good as gold.
Gary's happy for us to attend all of their meetings (save the National events).
I got the calendar from Bayden last night and am putting the Kaitoke parts into it tonight.
We'll be doing one month Kaitoke (points round) and next month Slipway (points round).
In the same month as the Slipway, if it doesn't coincide with the Kaitoke Kart clubday, then we have the option of going to that also as a non-points day.
I'll post the calendar up once it's all done.
Cheers.

Bikes having a few issue's at the mo... It idles way to high, throttle sticks and it like to stall unless you keep the revs high. It's also a bit louder as it has a 250 carb and no air box blah blah...That's my story and im sticking to it sir. :shake:

Yee ha. Keen for any racing. Both dates are fine with me, if I can just ask the nice spiders to let me have my bike back.

Arrr geeze!! Maybe it should be another "fun round" as opposed to a "points round" seeing as so many can't make the 22nd? Just a thought. Although I suppose there's always going to be few who can't always make it? Also, any word on maybe making Easter weekend a "bucket weekend" where we have a day at Slipway and a day at Kaitoke and maybe some out of towners might like to make a weekend trip for bucket racing at Wellington's two finest like Skunk suggested? Piss up (orgy) at our house Sunday night.

Set the dates for points rounds, then don't change them!
We will never be able to please everyone.
Imagine if Rossi could not make one of the Moto GP rounds cause he was doing his hair. I don't think they would change the date or make it a Moto GP fun day.

Taht's right!! I/we may only make one or two rounds at Kaitoke and if you set the dates then keep to them cause at least we can plan easily!!

Bayden did a prelim calendar and got me to fill in the Kaitoke dates.
He just to had to confirm with the Slipway people the dates. I'll call him tonight and find out if that's all done.
Then I'll get Skunky to post it up on the bucket-racing website.
