I'm after a late 90's or early 00's Hornet 250 to use for learning and to keep for a few years with any luck. Something in the 10-20k's range for genuine miles and in pretty decent shape is a must. Pickup or delivery in Wellington is also a must as i'm only on my learners and i'm not exactly hugely confident, so i don't want to be riding it in from anywhere outside of Wellington.
Anything will be considered, just let me know what you might have via pahansen@gmail.com and i'd be grateful of the help.

NOMIS, i saw your hornet for sale earlier and was tempted to say something but thought you, like a lot of others, wouldn't be interested in shipping it down... I don't think that i'd be able to pick it up half way as i really haven't done much (any) open road riding and wouldn't want to start on a new bike, even with your holiday link temptations you emailed haha; so really shipping is the only option for me. I've got no experience shipping a motorbike anywhere so will have to let you decide the best way to send a bike to Wellington scratch free.
You don't happen to have the original seat faring do you? I hate to say it but i think i might have to sully its looks with some pack rack/top box loving to help the commute.
I'm very tempted in the bike and will be in touch via email (as i don't have enough posts to PM you) in regards to all the details.

I reckon Simon would be keen to ride it down and get one of those like $30 flights back up this way, or as he's said even pick up a new bike down there and head back up haha!

Oh and in regards to the seat fairing unfortunatly as i mentioned in my auction I would list all the parts on trade me , i did and have sold everything i had - head lights to some guy who drove up from wellington :S that was going to hamilton lol and handel bars ect so all spare parts gone even the origional indicator's . but the top box and pack tack can still be fitted any how - or you could get a tank bag like I use. up to you really

I've just bought NOMIS' Hornet as advertised on the boards here so my offer no longer stands. Thanks everyone.
