with the right pipes they sound almost like a v twin

You're speaking to someone who has a big air-cooled pushrod v-twin.
I love the old-style feeling you get the Guzzi.
That new R-1 does sound awesome, but it'll never sound as good as a bevel Duke or a Guzzi with Termi's.
Each to their own, it'd be a boring world if we all liked the same machines.

:2thumbsup Blardy hell that sounds beautiful. Having owned lots of v twins and v4's etc etc i went off inline fours becuase of the sound but dam it that makes me want one.:doh: Altho i'm still partial to V8's heh heh.:cool:

Haha yea furthering the debt is par for the course when youre collecting toys:eek5:.Got a mate with an xr6 turbo and it goes like a shower of shit. Theres a whole lot of power lurking in them engines if you want to part with the hard earned.

Haha yea furthering the debt is par for the course when youre collecting toys:eek5:.Got a mate with an xr6 turbo and it goes like a shower of shit. Theres a whole lot of power lurking in them engines if you want to part with the hard earned. Yep before i bought mine i looked hard at the Turbo but thought na fuck it why not spend a shit load more for no other reason than to have something a little different and have since parted with way to much to acheive not much more than what i could have had for way less,if only life was simple.lol.

Watch the tacho needle (and horizon) when he gives it a bit of throttle in third gear. This was a very sophisticated install - he machined all the parts himself, and from the outside there's very little evidence it's supercharged.
In a mild state of tune, he's getting 145 hp.

Yep your'e right a mate at Phillip Ils. for the 1st round of Superbikes said the new Yami flat plane crank sounds like a V-Twin and my schoolmate a few years back used to piss me off when he came up the drive on his GT-750 Duke when I was still on a pushbike!
