CBR 600 Ultima Light?

Just after some knowledge from the motorcycle wise folk...:mellow:

Can someone tell me the difference between a 2000 CBR 600F and the Ultima Light version? The websites I've visited seem to indicate the Ultima Light is a heavier bike at 198kg dry weight while the CBR 600 F4 weighs in at 170kg dry...

I'm confused...:blink:

They both seem to have the same 118HP but the Ultima Light isn't rated as highly...however the Ultima Light's top speed is "supposedly" 290km/hr while the CBR 600 F4 only reaches 260...

I think the F4 model has the alloy frame, the "Ultima Light" has the old steel frame.
