I snapped my rear brake lever and need a new one. Does anyone know where i could possibly look for an aftermarket one? any company names, internet sites, etc would be a help. The factory one is $100 US on Munn racing so that'll equate to around $300 NZ at my local KTM dealer

I munted one recently. I think it was nearly $150 or there abouts and I just got Spectrum to get one in.

They have a precision 2rs bearing in them and they are made in Austria not China. Quality does cost some times.
Scott should be able to get one in for you.

Awesome. great help, thanks fellas. especially you barty, you're like my personal part sourcerer. I called the shop at 12 today and they said they'd get back to me in the arvo.... narp. I'll call em tomoz to see what laughable price they come up with and post results. If it's more than the 150 you recon you paid ktmboy i'll get the one barty found for me on E-bay. I've tried to start an account on ebay before and it didn't work. Something to do with zip codes? any tips?

sounds gay but any us site that asks for a zip code just put new zealand and all your other details and use 90210 (yes as in the program form now and the 80-90) it works been doin it for years for that matter any zip code that is real works its just the easyest to remember.

Someone in Wellington must have an AC Tig Welder surely.Ask a welding shop if they can do anything with it - could be another option.Even if you get it welded and find another -it will be a spare in your toolbox.

Hi Keeza

We have genuine KTM rear brake lever in stock and it comes complete at a cost of $150.00 inc GST and freight direct to you. If you want to order just go to our website www.triplexmoto.co.nz and select parts in the header then follow the drop down menus. We only have parts folders going back to 2006 loaded at present but looking to get back to 2001 by the end of the March. We also have KTM Hardparts Loaded as well but having some technical difficulties with pics at this stage. We will also be adding all Gas Gas, Husaberg and Husqvarna OEM parts in March as well.

Any hassles drop us a line on 09 265 2135. Cheers Steve

good idea, cheers blacksmith. Last time i asked someone to weld something (alloy) for a bike they said "no it won't be strong enough we won't do it" my brother then got a mate to do it and it's been running on the bike since without a problem. I'm gonna buy a new one from my local dealer for $142 unless triple x can do better? lol. Thanks for your post steve, I'll be keeping you on my favourites so i can shop around for all my parts in future.

Blacksmith, id like to get it welded up and keep it as a spare so i can carry it on future enduros lol. Wanna do a perkie if i mail it to ya?

don't know if they would ship overseas or the cost....but I bought ALL of my motorcycle gear, parts, oils, tires, etc from this place. Very competitive prices and they'd ship for free if you make a big enough purchase.... maybe check it out. They have huge inventory of OEM and aftermarket.

oh yeah? that's out of it. Maybe my shop is charging double to make up for your shop's loss? lol. We only have one KTM dealer in Wellington. The next closest is in Palmerston North (2hrs drive)

Thanks everyone for your info. I've now got a few more sites to scan through and waste countless hours on the net. Gotta use up my bandwidth somehow if the govt. gonna put this copyright bill through. Mmmmmm garble garble on American dick
