droped my bike at a recent trackday,lowside.Ive insured it for ten and the damage is six and a half.
will they write it off?
i really hope not,i love that bike and am not in a position to buy another for a while.

If they do write it off ask about buying it back.

well if they write it off you'll get 10k (minus excess) so you can buy the bike back and repair it youself and still have a deposit on a new bike!

We brought back 2 bikes and fixed them ourselves.

yea kiwibike insurance is the shiz! they do it on a case by case basis,basically you give em two weeks notice that you would like insurance for the track day and the email you back with a yay or nay.
BUT...if dicks like me keep dropping bikes they may re-consider in the future.so sorry in advance if i ruined it for everyone:stupid:

UPDATE
just got off the phone to the assesor,its a no! my bike will live again.he said it would have to be over eight grand damage before they write it off.
stoked!
