Just curious to see how many Kilometers other Newbies have done on their bikes, and what sort of trips they have done.

I've got a Kr150 two stroker that keeps on going so it's done some decent trips with me. Done just over 6000km on it since November '07.

Done two long trips, one from Napier to Cape Reinga (did around 2000km.) And just recently went to Christchurch which was around 1500km.

Enjoyed both the trips except having to fill up every 150km but surprisingly the bike has faired well.

So, please share.

Think I tip the scales a bit...

Bought my KLX 250 end of July last year. Taking it in for it's 18000k service later this week...

No wonder I'm currently single.

Crikey:eek5:, some of you guys and girls do clock up the kays eh?
Got my licence for exactly a year today, and I've done a mere 9000km on my little Scorpio. And that is riding almost every week day to work and back. Only took the car on three days of the year.
Although I can see the mileage increasing once I am on my full license next week and can start to legally take my new machine for decent rides in the weekends.

Probably upto 1200kms at the moment since my learners in December
But the Dunedin weather and working too much seems to be cutting back my time on the bike.

I am commuting to work on it now and I plan to do Uni lectures with it, bold move tho....

I think a trip away in April should bring me some kms.

Yeah another KR150 here, had this one (last one was stolen) a bit over a year to commute on, clocked up more than 29,000k's between it and another bike I was using up in Europe late last year.
Did some long rides in Europe (200-800k's a day for 4 weeks) but have not taken the KR further than Wellington to Marton and back as it's not really comfy for long trips wearing a pack (no panniers).

Great commuter bike though!

I did 25,000kms on an FXR150 in 18months. Since then I've done about 5,000kms on a 250 bandit and about 19,000kms on my ZX-6R in 2 years.

Ooooh...very close to the 50,000km mark

Riding a vespa px200. Done 30,000k (actually just a couple hundred off). Been on it for nearly 4 years. And the HP will be paid off in August, at which point I will be getting a Triumph Thruxton. Simply cannot wait, been dreaming about it for the last few months.

Done a few trips over the Rimutukas, tell you what the Vespa goes over the hill nicely. Been mostly commuting to work but with the vespa only managing to pull 110k (with tail wind) I'm a bit limited with longer trips.
