Whats on this comming weekend? Didn't get out last weekend so fancy a go this one.

Looks a bit like rain on Sat so some of you soft cocks might have to get over the sand and just ride it. It's good once you get used to it

Thunder was awesome last Sunday, despite the rain, we had such a range of conditions from deadset slippery where everyone was slipping out randomly all over the place to dry and very rideable towards the end of the day. Didn't see any soft cocks out there? I think sandpit would be a breeze after that. Was going to ride riverhead on friday but hosting dinner for a longtime no see cuzzy that night. Maybe ride the sandpit on Sunday.

We were thinking of going to a ride out on the Whangarei Heads but our mate said maybe it was cancelled, dunno just yet, but we were gonna go up on Saturday, stay on the beach, do the ride on Sunday then get pissed afterwards then drive back on Monday, but dunno now, ever since we've been riding this was the ride to go to :crazy:
May end up doing what ever everyone else does, wouldn't mind going for a ride with oldskool and littlejohn again if there going out somewhere, and MXheman if his bike is fixed :rockon:

should be at riverhead on friday never ridden there before so should be interesting
went to sandpit on sunday trails are in awsome cond smooth and packed down except for some rather large whoops on the home trails
Seemed like the mx track has had a bit of a birthday at some point to gone is the tractor tire chicane :woohoo: I did do my superman impersonation after a high speed attempt at the whoops here :bash::bash: luckly no one saw

One thing's for sure, even though the economy has soiled itself we sure are lucky to have so many great places to ride. Last week two deer jumped right in front of me on the MX track. There can't be too many places in the world you get a cool thing like that happening. Bloody magic.
I like hitting those whoops tommorth - good for my harden up program. Will try for a Superman when I move out of current Clark Kent phase.

Got blitz passed by someone on the MX track on Sunday. When we pulled off the track I saw it was Ethan Martens (sp?) so didn't feel quite so bad. Was out the back of outward bound earlier in the day and sat down under a tree for a rest. Hot sunlight filtering down through trees, smell of pine, cicadas and birds singing away to each other. Felt very fortunate to be where I was.

No he has a kid with a freaking nut case and he is a solo dad. He is trying to get her to sign some papers so he can move back here and get the fuck away from her and her nutty whanau.

The radiator was dripping coolant the last time i rode... Cleaned the bike etc.. and a week later there was a big patch of coolant on the floor... There were drops forming every 5 mins or so..When I take it to the guys to have a look at it, it fuckin behaves! Suddenly seems to have stopped... might need to do a pressure test?

Was told it had a fork bend... took the forks and wheel out, put it back together and it seems ok.. I hope atleast..

Guys if your game there is a wicked ne wloop just as you leave the old car park (going away from the beach) into the long whooped out track and you could shortcut about 10m in and head towards teh old Dead forest, well just at that turn off there is a red look (logans run I think). Fucking awsome track.

Wood choppers is in fine form too. there is a nasty drop off though. Funny as when Rupe binned it going down it.

you guys are going to love it tomorrow. teh tracks are in mint condtition and there is some really good new ones out there. Oh and watch for the big puddles.... LOL I got Rupe twice!!

Awesome day out at The Sandit today.
Not been on the bike much this year so fitness was not so good but seemed to be riding quicker, which was good.
Good to meet ya Noobi and funny that you were riding with us when I done my collar bone ages ago. Was hoping to show you and ya dad some tracks you would have liked...next time then.

Was a good day, met spikedpunch, kradnz and tnarg, yea small world a. Did some good riding with the 5 of us, I missed ms punchs superman but apparently it was quite impressive, oldskool told me im quite good at endoing and not falling off...
you guys should go to the tussock buster, and i think im bringing part of the beer supply to pay for the lift and the hospitality

it also helps to ride with somone quicker than yourself, its helped my riding alot, and ride in the most difficult conditions helps too.

i know what you mean... but it doesnt always help the confidence when you see them fly ahead and no matter what you do you can't keep up...see them waiting at junctions and feels pretty shitty!

You have no idea kez...PLENTY!! every crash slows me down for a wee while once im up and then i try to push some more and off i go again... vicious cycle..but i never seem to get faster..
