Greetings,
This is a gauge of interest of whether it is worthwhile holding an event at Kaitoke for Easter (11-12 April).
We have the track available to us for an all-bucket day(s).
Please place a vote in the poll.
Cheers

That sounds awesome 2 days of Bucket racing at Kaitoke, Im sure that most Bucket racers would say the same thing. I haven't been to that track as yet but have heard alot of positive things about it and if it goes ahead I will definately be there.

We are planning on having the "Annual Easter Sunday BBQ/Piss Up At The Kendog's" again this year, so if this goes ahead you are all most welcome to come to the home of Norf Welly Massif, the infamous Newlands, and join us for a feed and a few drinks, floor space available for crashing on.:apint:

Christ im tempted. That track looks awsome. Might have to spend some tome nyloning up properly tho. Not the half arsed effort I normally go with:shit:.

Nyloning is crucial. We have scrutineering of the bikes before they're allowed on the track with particular emphasis on that.

We are keen to come down. We may even forgo the points meeting in Auckland for two days at Kaitoke.
We have a small dog that we carry with us, name of 'Slicks'.
Will we be able to bring him down to the track with us ? He stays in his cage and doesn't howl or bark etc.
And if we are, is there anyone who is offering accomodation, dog friendly?
We can bring a tent, if necessary.

We'd probably be in the best position to offer K9 accomodation, plenty of room for a tent too, shouldn't be necessary but how many shelracings are there?

Kaitoke is part of what is locality known as "the Takas". A road that traverses a hill with many corners, both left and right. May I suggest you try it (with due care and attention - much like SH22 or 16).
Kaitoke track is in the center (http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=kaitoke,+Upper+Hutt,+Wellington,+New+Zealand&sll=-41.244772,172.617188&sspn=47.690487,69.433594&ie=UTF8&ll=-41.08616,175.171916&spn=0.011774,0.016952&t=h&z=16)

Yeah, Jafas, pretty sure we'd already established that.....
Can we get a good Flat White anywhere within 20mins of the track or will we have to import a coffee machine?

Gotta watch offering canine shelter, Busa Pete will probably turn up with sixty million Yorkshire Terriers..........
His standard excuse for not racing out of town is nobody will look after their mutts....... Maybe they need Super Nanny!!!!!!!!
