My current accomodation is with another person from work and I'm looking to move on from what was always a temporary arrangement. I'm looking for either a small 1 bedroom place to myself or a room in a houseshare with interesting adults who can clean up after themselves!

I work in Manukau so anywhere on the southern m-way is good (though I'll consider anywhere). I'm a 25 year old female professional, I can cook, help keep the place tidy and know my way around a BBQ. I would love to live with some people I have something in common with! I need garaging or secure parking for the Kwaka but that's it for now.

I don't have to be out of my current place in a great rush, but I'm looking to see what's out there...

ETA: should have mentioned that I'm in Auckland! (silly JAFA!)

Why are so many people on tardme confused between flatmates wanted and real estate?

Silly JAFA indeed. We all know the BBQ is a mans domain!

Yeah, but making marinades and stuff is purely a woman's concern, surely?

You can rent a caravan for $150 p/w

Skidmark may be looking for a flatmate too.

Helpful, cheers.

Now you're talking. Handy for fetching the chef cold beers whilst he perfroms miracles on the hot plate too.

Pity you're not in Wellington!! I'm needing a new flattie soon.

Ooh, too far! :p You can fetch your own damn beer ;)

Shame that, maybe next year when I start to rethink the big city...

Eh? If you're not prepared to fetch beer for the chef as he slaves his guts out for you over a dangerous hotplate...your rent would be 'adjusted' accordingly!

Hmm. Would I also be allowed to drink beer?

Naturally. Only fair if you're the one fetching it. Wine too.

Interesting. Though a barbeque is no place for wine, it gets intimidated by the fire and MEAT.

I beg to differ! I dragged a nine litre bottle of Red to a mates BBQ once...that sorted them out in no time. A nine litre Red is intimidated by NOTHING.

In the same way a 10-foot tall hamster riding a giant Hyosung fears no cat, yes

I know of a place that is self contained, under a house etc.

The landlord is after a quiet person (as there are people living upstairs)

It is in Howick/Pakuranga area
