Transit is seeking your comments - so here's the email address.

We need to keep it polite and factual if we want to have any impact.

I have commented too, wonder if they actually read and take on board the comments, or is this simply a way for them to prove they actually "consulted" the public about this issue?

The day they put these bloody things on the Rimutakas is the day I move back to Gisborne (:shutup:Shit.... don't quote me on that!!)
Comment made.
What I don't understand and annoys me more is the use of these things on the SIDE of the road!! They aren't going to save anyone from a head on crash over there!! They then leave you with no escape route, on-coming traffic vs a cheesecutter, hmmm, what to choose!! Bastards!

It appears that a few of our comments are being published. I read only one supportive comment out of 19 posted.

Just had a thought...
Whatever happened to that bloke in Paraparaumu who was developing some sort of shield for the cheesecutter shit?
This guy http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?p=1707679&postcount=1

Here's the person (http://www.transit.govt.nz/about/who/Deborah-Hume.jsp) "seeking your views"

Unfortunately I can't find any consultation document on Transit or NZTA websites - current or closed. Some consultation.

I can, but I'm also extremely lazy and only read the first page.
