Hi I moved to Taupo from the UK 3 years ago and love it here. Life is now complete I've got myself a bike and am enjoying it.
Hope to meet with more Kiwi bikers and learn about biking in NZ.
I look forward to riding with you some of you soon.
Rob.

Welcome to the land of the Long White Cloud Mate!
Post a pic of your bike on your profile, and check out the Moto TT Track days at the local circuit - run by Top People (and Kiwifruit)
Cheers

Hi was at the track yesterday just as a spectator. I think I might have to have a go at one. Looked a lot of fun.

Thanks for the welcome.
Where are the best biking roads? I'd like some quiet twisties to enjoy. I'm not to familiar with the roads. I had a good ride out to Mokau and back via Taumarunui.

There are some great roads in to the west, lots of deserted B grade stuff with very very little traffic. Heres a route idea; http://tinyurl.com/ykay969
The east cape is the best ride in the north island; http://tinyurl.com/ylkcfb8
Also keep an eye on the Rotorua and Tauranga threads in "meetings and events" for rides.
