Hey guys and gals! Just to let you know that stomp grip is in stock now for most newer sportsbikes and motocross bikes and if theres no kits specific to your bike you can get a sheet and cut it to suit. Ive been using it throughout the nationals and I wouldnt have a race bike without it now!
Basically it just sticks on to your tank or whatever and its a clear rubbery bumpy stuff that allows you to grip onto the bike much better with your knees so you have maximum control. I notice it helps keep the bike much more stable under braking as you can keep you weight to the rear and stomp the back end from lifting also in corners when your hanging off your bike feels like it is stuck to you! Give it a try guys kits are around the $90-$100 mark so its honestly the best modification you can do for the money!
If your interested in ordering some send me a pm with ya bike details ;)

How do you mean? From Saul's pics (thanks mate) the Stompgrip would seem to protect everywhere I'm scuffing up at the moment.

Nah ! If you saw my triples you'd see i aint to concerned with scuffing em lol
More the shape of the tank !
Find that when i'm hanging off the 1050 it dont have anywhere to tuck the knee under to stop it sliding up and hence i'm having to wrestle the bike to stay on (and in so doing, my head/body isn't out over the centre of gravity, just one cheek of me butt) Makes for pumped forarms and less relaxed = slower times !
Hoping to remidy that with raising the rearsets and stomp (so my knee may catch the ridge line at the top edge of the tank ! The speed 3 tank has similar lines to the 675 (may even build a roll on the side of the tank to suit)
Was confused as to why i was getting slightly faster times on my 955 than the 1050 (which is a second faster in the standing and 20 km more top end) and i think it has a lot to do with the fact the 955 tank is a different shape (has a slight roll half way down the side) and is 60 mm shorter between the rearsets and seat !

Ah OK seems like we're both looking for the same thing, a more secure base and so less wrestling with the bars, just that you're coming from a substatially more hardcore level. Hell I don't even want to scuff my tank up any more

How does this stuff age? Is it gonna look shite in two month time ie: go all yellowie and peel on the edges and or shrink leaving a glue patch around the outside.
Do they make a kit for a ZX14?
