Ummmm, it's a fucken horrible spaghetti slurping Italian piece of shit. And not even a modern one.
I'm surprised it didn't spontaneously combust in sheer disgust of itself when he opened the garage this morning........

I thought it might when the fuel line split open and fuel started spewing everywhere, but I couldn't be that lucky

Yeah that didn't go so well
Yesterday:
As I was loading up, noticed that the tank catch was broken. Casbolts had some so that was sorted.
Riding around in practice I was going well, then I noticed a crashbung lying on the side of the track. "Hope no one hits it" I thought...hang on, that looks VERY familiar! Looked down...yep, right crash bung gone, a delayed result of being taken out at Greymouth. Did one more lap so I could retrive it. Crash bung is part of engine mount. Much dashing about to find and fit another engine mount bolt in the evening.
Today:
Did a quick practice, bike felt GREAT! I suspect the engine mount has been "mostly broken' since Greymouth. The combination of tight engine mount, stiffer rear spring and improved clutch was working wonders.
Race one.
Brilliant warmup lap! Not such a brilliant race.... got to turn two (Kink/Pothole) and went down like a sack of spuds:laugh: Slid along with left leg trapped under bike, over the ripple strip and into the grass. The bike didn't have crash bungs, so all I could think about was the engine casings!
Looking at the video (don't worry Buddha- camera is fine) it looks like I did it all by myself. I think I braked a bit much while tipping in on cool tyres. It had been 8+ mins since I left the pits with only 1 warmup lap. I suspect I have gotten used to hot tyres. Bugger!
Went for Xrays and got an all clear there. The shoulder is bloody sore though, so I suspect I won't be going back for more tomorrow
So I want to post up the vid, but windows Movie maker is having fits and won't open. Anyone care to recommend a download off the net?
PS, Kickaha got cleaned up by an MZ.... Any talk of the back wheel being twisted to one side is the result of a rumour I started to errode his confidence and is completely untrue:bleh:

Probably the single most embarressing moment of my entire life, but it could have been worse I could have crashed on the first lap :bleh:
Oh yeah Happy Birthday Tony:shake:

Well it's not raining so I guess I'll have another go, got another rear shock arriving today to try and the throttle problems are just about fixed, so it's just the split fuel line and it's going again
I'll try the first race and then decide whther to park it up

I decided to park it after lap 2 of race 1, slower than the 400 I raced and I had no confidence in the bike even after the improvements we made to it and one of the mufflers fell off down the straight after a bracket fractured:doh:

Didn't even notice, as I rode down the main straight to pull into the pits I thought to myself someones lost a megaphone because there's one lying by the edge of the track, well guess what bike that came off
TonyB was on a monster he might have already fallen on his arse when you turned up, he was parked the otherside of the 4WD thingy beside me

Tony, what bike were you riding? The Monster in my profile pic, just without the dodgy rear number boards.
Hmmm, I've been concerned about how i could afford to race this year with my wife being made redundant. I might have unwittingly solved the problem if my physio's concerns are realised- if she's right it could be a slow recovery:doh:

I had a moment on that corner myself, I opted for bottling out and doing some motocross, managed to stay upright. It's sharper than it looks once you get your speed up a bit.
