Gidday guys n gals,
Well, as some of you know, I'm taking a sort of break from the KB thing to concentrate on books / music / waistline etc but would dearly love your help.
The book I am working on at the moment revolves around a bunch of characters who are items of food. One of these dudes is a mushroom ( a really fun guy as it happens....old joke I know). Anyway, he needs some transport to get him around so I thought of, well, a bike I suppose.
What I need is a name for the bike and a model, like a Sausage 650 but something far more clever and inventive than that.
Rather than rack the old grey stuff, I wanted to throw this open to KB'rs and the best one will get a credit on the books when they finally come out.
Only criteria is that it has to be kept clean cos these are a set of kids books...:baby:
So, there you have it, all and any suggestions greatly received. I'll poll the best and let you all decide, just a bit of fun but a serious project all the same.
Thanks for helping,
Cheers all

Mushrooms go on steak, so it should be a "Fillet 350".
It's made of raw meat and leave a trail of blood around town. All the other vegetables see it and say "gosh there he goes again". The local mayor ("Mayor Mayonaise") is always on him to clean it up. It's a running gag for the character.
When he runs out of "juice" he needs to get a new bike, and cuts it out of a live cow.
The kids would be 4 and up, eh?

A mushroom has only one "leg". How would he/she straddle the bike?
Prehaps a sidecar would be a betterer option?

If you need a test group of kids to listen to the story, I have a beautiful class of 20 6-7 year olds! They are very honest and always have wonderful ideas :)
Good luck with the book, I look forward to reading it one day!

Wow, blown away by the response you guys, cheers.
As for the type of bike, there is no real preference (cruiser, trail or sport etc) because it's fantasy type stuff.
Thanks again for your time and efforts, hope to get some more
