Superkarting

I know it's not entirely motorcycle related, but nor is it rant or rave material.
Also, as to how many of you have stumbled across this, I am unsure.
Guy at work who's been in NZ for about 6 months used to do supermax/superkart racing back in ol' blighty.
The story goes as follows:

'So me an ma mates pulled up to the track, where a couple guys were blatting around in their fancy racey jappas, and a few sporty american cars... They told us to piss off and go play back at the ball pit. So we struck a deal. If we beat their best guy around the track with our slowest 125 kart, we got the track to ourselves for a good 'our.
So, we wiped his arse with a good 44 on clock, and they squeezed a pretty damn good 54, for a car.'

I'd love to give this stuff a go, but it looks bloody fatal if you make a cock through any corners!

Mind you in all honesty the top of the "hill" at pukie is a touch er hairy
50mm ground clearance isn't enough hittin them bumps

they are great fun, and I havent really seen anyone come to grief apart from spinning out on a corner, it doesnt really go too badly unless you get clipped, but yeah, they are a great adrenalin rush!
