Thanks bro. My mate bought it and I ferried it home for him. Its scruffy, but it goes like a haunted shithouse and he's stoked with it.

It was interesting to compare it to my GT650R and my GT250Rs. For those interested, the FZR ride was surprisingly rougher than the GT250R and much rougher than the GT650R. Nowhere near the midrange torque of the 650 vtwin of course, but surprisingly not as much top end either - I guessed it would be close, but the 650 has loads more pull @around 9-10,000rpm.

The smooth haunting howl of the FZR's noisy aftermarket exhaust is on-par (entertainment wise) with the fat crackle-snarl of the vtwin 650. Why choose? Have both!

No worries. Yeah its a pretty top endy bike but its humble 400cc is no match for a modern 650 v-twin. But it weaves its magic in the corners and stops like you have run into the back of a bus. The bark out of that exhaust will put a smile on your face everytime you ride it. Its not a long distance cruiser but you will find any excuse to have a blat through your favourite twisties on it or the track for that matter.
