Hayabusa Babes?

Just wondering if any of ye fine ladies have ever owned, ridden, still own a hayabusa and the pros and cons of doing so. This is quite contrary to my desire to get a buell, but it is purely for experimental purposes that I ask. So for the sake of science, do tell all ... thanx!

Well with the size of the rear end of the Busa, on the positive side your bum will NOT look fat on one. :clap:

I wanted to try one, but I couldn't get my feet on the ground, I felt like whale rider perched up there!!

The 'busa is an awesome bike and I loved riding the '04 model I had at my disposal. For a v-twin fan it was the only bike I'd ever jumped on and, on the first ride, ridden it like it was my own.

They are heavy but still relatively easy to move around. The great thing about them is that they have so much grunt you don't have to rev the balls off them and they're just insane when you open the throttle. They're not too challenging to ride around town, either. I say this after riding a BMW K1200RS and a VN1500D back and forth to work - they were challenging in rush hour traffic!

I've done a bit of pillioning on a 'busa and they are well suited to it. If I was going to do another road-only tour (say, of Australia) then a 'busa would be on my list of potential bikes.

I test rode the 2008 1340 Hayabusa (GSX 1300R) for a couple of days last year.
It is a relatively easy bike to ride, especially once you have a bit of speed up. I'm mainly on a naked bike so I found the faring provided loads of shelter and that was definitely a nice change. The only thing that I didn't like about it was its size but then it is a busa so if you owned one you'd like that about it, I guess.

It weighs in at around 220kgs so I found it’s not the easiest to push around for myself but the height at 31.7 inches it’s fairly low to the ground.

The best thing about this bike is the 3 settings. You have road, race and rain so you can adjust the performance output. Is a little thirsty on the gas but then if you're in the race setting you'd expect that.

But over all a very nice bike to ride, smooth, fast and if it wasn't so big I'd probably own one myself :niceone:

I was thinking of a hayabusa after seeing a few in the States where I have spent a bit of time lately. I am concerned with the weight though for moving around. The seat height is okay for my leg length but it feels a bit unwieldy with the forward bars for moving around and starting off. Different to the bandit. I need to bludge a ride on one - I know someone with one but doubt if friendship would extend to agreeing a ride. Please tell me girls - is this a girls MC and would it suit a lightweight.

Why don't you take one for a test ride from a dealer? They will have demo models available

the bosa's are a big bike i would think it would be tiring to ride in the tiet staf.
