Trying to buy these online is like pulling teeth without anesthetic.
From their website, a place in Aus is offering a package deal of two headsets for $375.00. But F...K me they don't ship to NZ, they will sure as shit ship spare parts or any other piece of BlueAnt parephanalia, but NOOOOO not the Interphone.
PLanet Wireless, another supplier of BlueAnt products, again in Aus, won't ship to NZ.
Dick Smith, can't locate anything about them on their website, and the email response I got from a store was "What exactly is that product again...?"
Northern Accessories (NZ) are charging $375.00 (NZ) for 1 Unit........??????
CycleTreads, sell them for $375.00 each, but stock not available...????
So my question is, where in good ole NZ can a package deal for 2 of these items be purchased from...?

They would not ship because the courier company the business owner uses charges the guy $120.00 for shipping to NZ, and he doesn't want to use Australia post parcel shipping, because it's too much hassle to fill out a parcel declaration and post it normally. Even though this costs less than $40.00 (The owner rang me to explain why he doesn't ship to NZ).

Sweet. Emailed Radar Direct, and a deal has been struck. Talk about good service, via email....:)

Simple answer. Fly to aussie on a cheap fare, buy them direct for the better price, and fly home again. Probably quicker & cheaper than getting dick head smith or anyone else to import them for you.

Now I did think of getting a couple of workmates to do just that for me while they are over there on a course. Am considering all options at the moment.

Okay - got given a set of these to test out. And boy am I glad I tested before shelling out some $$$ for a pair of these. Not that flash..
Limited talk time. Hassles with recharging the thing after usage. Single earpiece, so sounded a little un balanced. + there was an annoying wind whistle the unit itself caused as it has to be mounted on the outside of the helmet. This might not happen on all helmets, but it happened on both the HJC ones I tried it on.
Went instead for a Starcom1 Digital system. Review of it is in the sig....:)

Wow - that's quite different to what we found.
Limited talk time - we were getting 5 hours full duplex talk time before getting the beeps.
Yes - One earpiece - but then its only chatting - not music - so no problems there.
When nobody was chatting it was quiet as a very quite thing.
Range was fantastic - and it worked further away and at greater speeds than advertised on the packet.
I would give them 10/10.
Disclaimer - ours were free in return for a review - but I do stand behind the comments!

And thats the thing with most modern pieces of techno junk. The results will vary from person to person, and from situation to situation.
If they had worked out for me I would have probably gone with them.
If they work for others, woot, get some, as they are mid range in the pricing. And they do do a lot more than some of the other basic set ups out there.

We used to get 5 hours duplex out of our BlueAnts before the beeps set in.
Which reminds me to chase up the warranty issue on one of them. BlueAnt have gone to ground on me...
