This project has been gathering dust in the corner for years. I thought I'd retire from racing my ducs and move onto the posties but I'm still as obsessed as ever with trying to keep the bloody things on the track.
Anyway, my loss will be someones gain.
Engine was originally a 78 KZ1000 but I have had it completely rebuilt with an APE 1200 kit. Bigger valves, ported, cams reground by Kelfords etc etc. There are so many trick parts I can't remember off hand, but I'll obviously itemize it all for an interested party, but there are plenty and it cost me a bucket load of moola. It's never been fired up but I turn it regularily and keep the bores lubricated.
Carbs are new 33mm CR round slides c/w push pull throttle twist assembly and big bore fuel petcock. New APE clutch plate, springs and backing plate.
The frame has all been braced. Tank, seat, side covers are all mint. Wheels are the rare aluminum rivited mags, 17".
Needs assembling and some TLC.
Owes me way over $12K but I'll take $7500. Ph Ed 0275 664162
