Has anyone got good advice about what passenger foot boards to buy ? And ... where from ?
Have you gone with stock Suzuki foot boards, or used some of the other ones available from the USA ... or other places ?
Any pictures of them appreciated.
Thanks.

Just ordered a set of Cobra "Volusia" footboards from Cruiser customizing in the USA. They look the bizo, and a bit cheaper than buying Suzuki locally.
This bike is going to be expensive ... with the "blinging" !! lol. :)

Yes that includes the fittings. The cost was US$ 292.00 - which included shipping of $48.00
A local dealer sent me this email:
"The footboards offered by Suzuki and visible in the USA website catalogue
would retail at NZ$676.23. This includes a full fitting kit. They would be
airfreighted to order at no extra charge."
He went on to say that price didn't include any dealer profit from his end, .. purely as a "social service" .... which was nice of him.
There isn't too much difference price wise, but I prefer the look of the Cobra boards.

before you buy a screen, go to www.volusiariders.com and have a read up on it.. some guy posted (or stickied) an article on how to get the best effect from them. It seems that if you dont have "skirts" that come down the sides of the headlight and front forks, you get little effect from the screen..
Personally.. I dont like the way screens look - I like the effect.. so I guess I'll just have to suffer with wind pressure...

the best thing I got for mine was lower wind deflectors, really reduced the buffeting from the screen (which is a common problem). I have put the Kurykyn passenger footboards on mine.

Yeah, its the lower wind deflectors that are needed, something about aero dynamics blah blah :P
