Hey,
Am looking at the Suzuki VL250 Intruder. There appears to be a Series 250LC and a Series k7. does anyone know the difference between the two?

I think you'll find that it's a VL250LC K7. VL250LC being the model and K7 being Suzuki's year code for 2007. I belive LC stands for Luxury Cruiser or some such waffle

Shouldn't be any difference, the K7 simply means 2007 model, K6 was '06 etc.
I believe it is still called the VL250LC Intruder.
The only change to the bike I'm aware of is the switch from twin mufflers to single muffler a couple of years ago.
They're a great little bike!
(Not that I'm biased or anything...)

Yep, heard only good things about them and had a sit on one, pretty good for a cruiser. ;)

Had my VL250 since Nov 08, clocked up just over 3,000kms so far. Hasnt missed a beat. They sound great (got a great exhaust note compared to other equivalent stock 250 cruisers in my opinion). They will cruise all day at open road speeds with still some power left in reserve.
Build quality is one of the best in the industry. Very forgiving to ride and they look great as well. No regrets getting a VL250. I'm sure if you choose to buy one you will enjoy it as much as i do too. Goodluck with your shopping.

Another happy VL250 owner here. Just done first oil change, very easy.
Two suggestions for VL250 owners: buy a rt-angle tire valve adaptor they make filling the tires MUCH easier. And as the upright position does result in some wind resisitance over 80km/h I'm considering a screen for longer rides. :ride:

A good idea! My C50T has the angled stems stock, but my old GSX-F didn't. Cycletreads has them for about $9 ea. Got a set for our MX5 recently as it has aftermarket alloys and they were a pain to check.

my wife has a 08 vl250 and its a great bike. Easy to ride and very forgiving on the road as well as being fun around town.
she has put some good looking saddlebags on to cart her stuff in as well.
would recommend this bike.

My frist bike was a Vl250 k7  was a great bike to learn on, big enough for the open road, sat @ 110km happily, but light enough to feel confident moving her around:headbang:. I put a screen on mine, think pic's are still in my gallery somewhere, all around great little bike & sold quickly when I moved up to my M50z:banana:
