Plenty of shops here, you could try Pacifica shipping for the bike or Kiwi car carriers just to see if the price is better.

Personally I'd stick with Biketranz - the shops here use them and their trucks appear to be very well set-up. I have not heard of any bad reports about them - I have heard of a few disappointed Trademe buyers when they unload their new pride and joy though .........:buggerd:

You have two Honda dealers in CHCH if you stick to the brand shops, Casbolts in the city (Manchester Street) and the new flagship dealer at Hornby - Hampton Honda. You'll find comments (good and bad) on KB with a search for either name.

Wow,$480 sounds pretty decent, strange though, about 8 months ago I got qouted $660 from Biketranz,WITHOUT Insurance from Aux to Chch.Rang oround a few others and decided on Captain Transporter, the cheapest of the lot at $550 INCLUDING Insurance, and was'nt dissappointed.Bike arrived about a week later in the same condition it left.Only thing,it's a depot to depot service, not door to door, they're based out by the Wigram Airbase.BTW,Welcome to Christchurch, burn your Blue & Whites before leaving...:woohoo:
