Yeah but I'm hoping to sell it privately to get a bit more for it to plough back into a DR650! I know I can get at least $6k from a dealer (you know how dealers are!) but privately I should get $6500 because its easily worth it - it's the cheapest '08 or '09 on TM at least!!!!!! Might attract a quick sale! :msn-wink:

Thanks for the nice comment on the bike mate!

I actually wish I could keep it and turn it into a more full-on trail bike but unfortunately I just can't afford to do that, bummer really as I do love the bike, will be sad to see it go!

One gentle owner, only raped mercilessly on sundays.

Nah, it's a tidy machine, here's hoping it sells quick.

I was trying to sell Marks KLR the other day but the guy had already tried it out and it was too tall.

Nah, I'm still a b*stard Mark.

It was the guy from Levin that came round, possibly with his wife, to try yours out. He'd previously had an older KLR I believe. He really liked the bike but felt he didn't have the leg length to safely and comfortably do 2-up with his wife getting on and off etc.
I ran into him in TSS, he was looking at a Tenere they have cheap in there, when I started talking to him about yours I didn't know he'd already seen it.
