Webbs Classic Bike Auction (March 18)

Webbs Auctions are holding another major sale of classic bikes next week (March 18). There's some fantastic looking stuff in the catalogue, including one of Bert Munro's Velocette drag bikes and a Norton CS1.

I'm glad to see that Webbs are putting so much effort into developing this market. I just hope that the bikes don't end up going offshore - which is a real possibility with the NZD so devalued.

I would like a closer look at that TT. Seems it described wrong. Engine carbs front brake are all from 66/67 season and 66 is my favourite year.

Thanks for that link Forest. It's interesting to see some of those early Japanese bikes being estimated at up to $20,000. The reality might be something different though, but I hope not.

I wouldn't put too much weight on the catalogue estimates.
