My word for today is 'poofter'. Isn't that a great word? It doesn't get used much these days though. As in "Shut up, ya poofter." "Piss off, poofter."
What's your seldom-used yet underrated word of choice?

Vacillating.
lol, my boss used that one in a presentation we once did in front of a client (long, boring, corporate kind of meeting). Everyone looked funny at him but he kept talking. I was in charge of the projector, demoing new software.
So without even thinking twice, I popped up a browser and typed define:vacillating into Google. Came up with definitions. Everyone started giggling.
He still doesn't know why everyone laughed at him as he had his back to the screen the whole time :)

My word for today is 'poofter'. Isn't that a great word? It doesn't get used much these days though. As in "Shut up, ya poofter." "Piss off, poofter."
What's your seldom-used yet underrated word of choice?
Speaking of poofters... linkie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f_p0CgPeyA) - Python naturally!!
Or penecontemporaneous syn-sedimentary post-depositional deformation? OK, so that's several words, but pretty impressive huh? Bling to anyone who can explain what it is :D
Is it that massive, honking big pimple on your arse??!! :killingme:
Here you go:
And a Blue-Footed one too, if I remember Jacques Cousteau accurately...grrrr!
Damn! That's what I was going to say!!
What the smeg (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=smeg) are you lot on about?
Smeghead!!
coniption, I believe it has some relation to blowing your foo foo valve or doing your nana.
I like the word fanny too, it's just cute.
I have a brother who's nickname is Fanny - actual name Anthony but Fanny from the way little kids (?) who can't say the name right go AnFanny.... kind of....
oh oh! and when old people use the word "corker" I LOVE that! "your a little corker aren't ya!"
Hell just listening to old geezers (and geezettes) from London talking Cockey is roight fun t'ear!!
Does anyone else still use "hua", as in "He's a good hua"?
prob'ly only in da Norf Island these days....
my little contribution now...
