McLean Motors Party 7pm (Sat 2 May)


Tickets are only $10.00 per person!!

Get a fantastic nights entertainment!! pre purchased ticket holders, go in the draw for special prizes! Tickets limited to 150

Spend the day out riding at your leisure (or mowing the lawn...:Pokey:) then head on back to The Honest Lawyer for the "McLean Motors Party" with live band.. 'Back to Back' Come earlier (6ish) & have a great meal (not included in ticket price) then settle yourself in at 7 pm.. for special guest speaker PHIL GARRETT. On 12 July 2005 on a cold winter's morning in Chertsey, South Canterbury, the Flying Kiwi team broke both the World and New Zealand Land Speed Records for 1000cc sidecars over a flying kilometre. Come along and hear Phil’s amazing & funny story.

Last year we made $5000 on the day, which was a huge boost for the Summit Rescue Helicopter funds.. & this year we want to beat that!! so pleeeeeease spread the word!!! ALL money raised at this event stays in Nelson for the local Rescue Helicopter!!!

They were FANTASTIC aye!!!!!! :first: Sergent Phil Wooding is the man!!! he's very supportive of this ride & co-ordinated a fantastic traffic crew together, to give us such a smooth easy ride right through to the end!!! Cheers Phil & co!!!! :2thumbsup

Well done Jen. It was great to ride with so many good blokes & blokesses - & the dogs too! Next year we'll try to put in a dirt road option for the adv types - maybe the grass verge beside the railway reserve:laugh:
