Good Lord no! As the previous posts said. Just petrol. 91 is fine.
But I used to own an FXR150, and can say, great choice. For the money they're a really capable little bike.

91, 96, or 98 will be fine, but if you mix oil in with it, yes that is a problem and you'll want to drain the tank.

welcome to Kb!
Honestly some people have shit for brains, and dont have a clue!
Good call for doubting them ngh007 cos nope no oil with fuel for your FXR (thats only required for 2 strokes), only in the engine but thats another story.

Enjoy your new ride :Punk:

Just petrol. 91 is fine. And it is. You MIGHT find it travels a greater distance per tank of fuel on 96, if that is useful to you. As a rule, it doesn't matter too much which fuel you use, EXCEPT some of the biofuels with alcohols(?) added can cause problems.

Thanks - i just wanted to confirm - it wud be a big fuck up if i put in the wrong one! :) Naw it will just run a little smoggy and it will stink a little, but I don't think you will eff it.

Welcome to biking, and to KB. You will be amazed how many ladies there are on KB, and on the road on bikes.

Welcome to KB :)

There is a Suzuki 150cc two stroke though .... I think from memory, it's an RGV150 ... or something like that. I'm pretty sure they look similar to your bike. So who ever told you your FXR150 needs two stroke oil, has obviously got their models mixed up ..... but yeah .... they certainly did make a 150cc two stroke !! :)

Have fun on your new bike !!

Well I own both versions of the Suzuki 150's.... and these guy's are right, dont put oil in the tank. Though these little tractor's prob wouldnt give a toss. Try an RG150 if you get a chance, they have a similar frame, the RG is only so slightly bigger (fairing) but the RG feels like a rocketship (compared to the FXR) and it runs better on the track with a bit of oil in the tank ;)

Have fun, welcome to KB.
