I dropped my KLR (again!) on the dunstan trail on Sunday, going slowly, lost the front wheel coming out of a muddy puddle, my left toe got jammed into the ground and between the peg so when I got flipped my knee took the brunt of it( Just as well i was wearing my Styl Martin boots otherwise I reckon my foot would be F%%%%%d too)I took a good whack to the melon as well,( Thank god for the Arai) I was a bit knocked about and Colin, who I had met at the gas station in Ranfurly showed up. He helped me to get the bike up (No real damage from memory, engine guards a bit bent I think) get it started and I managed to get it into 3rd and road to Mosgiel like that without stopping. Got to a mates who called the ambo and turned out I had a mild concussion and mangled cruciate ligament But I didnt get a chance to thank Colin, whoever he is... so thanks mate, enjoy your new KLR and hopefully i will see you on the road somewhere in a couple of months...

Amazing you could ride. I did one of those playing soccer and I was a basket case (did a medial at the same time tho so maybe that makes it twice as bad? Dunno.) Good when you know fellow bikers will help you out :Punk:
