(Man wearing a white coat and holding a pointer.)

Imaginary scale. A Triangle.

At one point is St. Troy Bayliss' Bike. One has Ben Townley's Bike and the third has a Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic.

Every motorcycle has a footprint somewhere on that triangle.

The most versatile bike has the largest.

That's been posited before. It doesn't work. You also need a point with a 50cc scooter at least. And to do it properly, another, through four dimensional space to introduce age and technology.

Works for current recreational and sports vehicles though.

Anything works if you fudge the parameters enough

The most versatile bike has the largest.Otherwise known as the most unfocused porridge bike.

Manufacturers, you can keep your gheyarse generic all rounder bikes thanks very much.

I'm not - You are expanding them.

It is, but I will not be there. I have sent Peggy my apologies, the road thence is too badly flooded.

Not everyone can afford more than one bike and there are many different types of conditions and types of riding here.

I was in a conversation last night where they said 'so we got to the gravel and turned around.'

Poor bastards - they missed out on some of the best roads ever - where it turns back to seal - 20km up the track.

Sure they can... they're just putting other things ahead of owning more bikes.

I shall invite Finn to the chair and it will be a short meeting if he declines.

Wife, kids, house... an other bike...

Such things can make or break a person.

i would love to see how i could do that without having to live in a cardboard box and have nowhere to stash them safely

You don't have to spend big money for a bike to be fun... look at my RGV, cost me $5k and it's a blast :D If I were looking for a trail bike, I'd probably spend half that. Brought a mini moto recently, cost me a quarter of a weeks wages.... kick arse! There's biking fun to be had everywhere for reasonable money :)

And is some ways more than one bike is a right PITA.

Multiple Licence costs
Multiple Levies
Multiple pissing about with WOFS

I think 'Bike' magazine produced something similar last year. The trouble is all motorcycles have two wheels, and people use for things outside their designated roles. Apparently some people even commute on their sportsbikes, and some people ride their Harleys during the week!

You've been attending too may marketing courses again now, haven't you?
