Friend of mine is looking at cruisers and I've seen a clean example of a Jackel.
Does anyone know about these, maintenance etc. Friend is a she, steady rider and newish to riding, 5 ft 7 in the real measurements.
How would it compare to a Harley Nightster or Sportster?
Cheers,
Any feedback helpful - this is not my area

I would try pming Big Dave, hes bound to have slung a leg over one,i can only add that in typical Guzzi fashion it should be bulletproof motor wise.

The Jackel was the base model cruiser from Moto Guzzi, that was made to have bling parts added later to suite the owner.
They are more sporty than most, if not all other Cruiser's.
The motor is basically the same as any older 5 speed Guzzi.
So is pretty well bullet proof.
Apart from any standard quirks that Guzzi's have.
The motor is easy to work on as they have been around since Adam was in short pants, all or any problems are well under stood and answers and fixer are known.
There are a few real good Moto Guzzi forums that can and answer any and all questions you can have.
Here is one to get you started.
