Mmm, saw that. Some advocacy group (of fucking course) is saying that she might have been feeling shamed.

Which, I guess, is a perfectly valid reason to put your kid in a rubbish bin.

It's the airport's fault - they should have Baby Recycling Bins at regular intervals so that she didn't have to use the rubbish bin.

That blew lower than your sister.

You really need to work on your comebacks - they're getting a bit tired.

Back on topic, now we will need to fly the girl's whole family out from Apia to make sure she's OK.

Hmm, better find a State House, and some benefits. This could take a while.

I just talked a flight attendant about this and she said that Air NZ has the highest on board delivery rates in the world due to Islander woman flying to NZ to have thier baby here. They book a flight for about a week before thier due date so they can deliver here, and get thier child a NZ citizenship...

Read the bottom bit, the preachers & lawyers were trying to get to her in middlemore... I have experienced these preachers hands on in middlemore, and they are not always wanted... by the family or the person in question... load of crock I would say... send her home, and fine the airline for letting her on the plane pregnant...

That might have been true prior to 2006.

However after January 1, 2006 a baby born into New Zealand can acquire citizenship only if at least one parent is an NZ citizen or a permanent resident or an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of the Cook Islands/Tokelau/Niue.

+1

And prior to that all they had to do was fly in here, drop and wallah soon the whole 30+ whanau would become NZ Citizens and bulge on our benefit system. All hail Labour Gubmint.

In the Harold this morning they state that the baby was physically abused right after birth and was squashed into the trashcan.

My God - it makes you want to cry.

Just shows how much she doesnt value her children's life. She must be a hard biatch to give birth on her own and then abandon the baby in a trashcan after abusing it. The baby is better off without her, and she should be deported.

The humanitarian in me says that that woman obviously has some serious issues and deserves our compassion, whilst the mother in me says she should be sterilised so she can never breed again, and her baby should be adopted to a couple who would love it and bring it up well. :( Very sad.

This could quite possibly be your best post ever.

You see MsKABC, being a humanitarian is taking a socialist position in the plight of mankind. In theory this all sounds wonderful but we all know if never works in practice. Take for example, and this is very topical, Helen Clarks new UN role. She is well trained in wealth distribution but it doesn't really work does it? For over 50 years now, we have been giving money to African nations but they are much worse off today then they have ever been!

However, when you look at this situation from an accountable and responsible perspective (like that of a mother) you derive a logical and reasonable solution.

You go girl! Keep with that train of thought.

So many possible responses, including remarks about back-handed compliments and patronising twaddle, but I think I'll just go with: Vote with your bling button then :shifty:

Yeap good thought, thought about that as well but the fact she has two other kids sums it up.
Here's a thought....? What if she was raped and the baby was from that and her first child, how would you look at it then? Moral delima ??

Easily solved.
When they check in for the flight, just ask "have you booked and paid for TWO seats"? "No"? "Well, fuck off then, you are not flying today".
