View Full Version : WGTN - Please help me race this year!!

Basically I keep destroying my race bike and managed to do so again at the cliffhanger last week.... and if I want to do the VMCC winter series this year and go after sponsorship then I need a bike that is working and that I can rely on. To do this I need $$.
I know its a hard push with times the way they are at the moment but I am offering to mow lawns and basic garden maintenance. Prices would be negotiated at the time but I would prob charge $20 or under for mowing a quarter acre section or smaller and no more than $30 for something bigger or with steep hills etc... Garden maintenace prob at $10 an hour.
I by no means a professional gardener and I basically just want to make an easy dollar while offering your guy's a better than "market" price. Also, I have no car licence so will have to ride my bike around which would mean that you would have to supply your own tools, sorry.
Please let me know by PM and let your mates know too!

Long story cut short, burnt really badly cant get finance. I have to race the RG or not race at all this year. After sitting out all but the last 2 rounds last year I *have* to race this year.
Hell, i'll even clean people's houses and if they wanna pay my airfare + expenses then i'll do it anywhere in NZ. ;)

And why not too!
Like I said to you Hels, good on ya, I admire your attitude that you're willing to offer your services to raise money for your racing fund instead of sitting on your arse moaning about how hard and expensive it is (which I'm sure it is) and expecting a hand out. Good for you!:niceone:
Come on folks, give Hels some odd jobs and stuff to do. Surely everyone has something they need to do but never get the time to get around to doing it. Let Hels do it and flick her some cash to get her bum to the track! :)

Righto, thanks to some very generous people, I have work for the next 2 weekends lined up..... Cause I am desperate to go racing this year and need more money, I have decided to offer the following services (at very reasonable rates) as well:
Babysitting @ $10 an hour
Basic House Cleaning @ $10 an hour
Washing of cars and bikes - rates negotiable
Please bear in mind that I also work a 45 hour week 7-4 so I will only be available week nights and weekends. Also, this is ongoing for the year as I will need money for entry and generally fixing blown engines etc etc and my current employer does not allow me to have 2 jobs.....
If you know anyone that may be interested in any of the above please let me know and I will give you my contact details for them
Thanks all.

Thank's heaps for your offer C! I am more than happy to keep coming back and doing just as much as you need done and I reckon with people like yourself (and others) offering me work that I will be able to get out there and race the whole season. Also once I get the bike looking and running well then I will get out there and get some sponsorship.
See you next weekend! :niceone:
