My current bike pants are on their last legs and I'm more keen to get a pair of bib overall type pants (which are proving a bit difficult to find). I've never heard of the Nerve brand and am wondering if anyone else has heard of them?
A seller on TradeMe has these ones for sale:

Never heard of them and as that particular seller specialises in cheap Chinese stuff i'd imagine that would be their origin.
Personally I'd go for a known brand (at whatever price level suits) through your local dealer, at least if you strike any problems you know that you have some channells for backup.

Nerve is a German brand made under license in China. Not to bad but CHCH agent hard to deal with. The Lincra pants on trade me are good and good service from them. Just not bib style.

I have one of their Cordura Jackets. Up till now it has been great. I bought it in about October for the summer months. I just noticed today that it has a 'pull' across the back but then, the DriRiders do that too. Seems to be something about the soft woven Cordura fabric that if you pull it too hard it'll tear away somewhere. Anyhoo, it has done the job for me and I like the look of it too

Bit of homework reveals they are in fact a Chinese company. Nerve is the brand name coined by their German sales & marketing company Kang Tex GmbH. http://nerve.en.alibaba.com/aboutus.html
If your looking for a cheap pair of pants for commuting or light use they look the part and by the reviews of some of the posters on here don't seem to be too bad considering the cost.
If your looking at daily/heavy usage it might pay to look at something a little better. Horse for course and all that.
Good luck whatever you get :)

How do you mean? Are the bib overalls no good?

I wondered who would notice! Came with 2 and now it's almost got 4 cos the lining is coming away.
Thanks everyone - I think I'll keep looking. I need them for commuting and a bit of weekend & rally riding.

They've got a shop in Onehunga where you can see & try their jackets and pants. I did have a look and they seem pretty good for the price.
