remember to nominate which class you would like points for as you can race two classes but can get points for only one

Grand Prix, i'd say this is all the top riders. You'll fit in well from what i've seen u ride Chop

I've registered online so i'm in. Novice 250 open is me (still consider myself a beginner but they didn't have a slow class)

Meow. When I was younger I was never keen on anything other than MX. The idea of trying to go fast on a cross country course that was too long to learn really put me off. Too old for banging bars now but you can't beat the full on excitement of an MX start.

I think its $40 and another $20 for every other class you want to race in (don't quote me on the prices)
im sure there is
open class (450 4s, and 250 2s) 3 races
intermediate class 3 races
And then the all in feature at the end of the day 1 race

Thats if time permits
They normaly have to cut the day short or mix groups.

Worth going up or nah? I had my first taste of mx racing today and i'm keen for a bit more of the fun. Dunno if I wanna wait round all day for 3 races tho.:argh:

yeh its a pretty cool day but yeh the only prob is waiting around for your next race... theres around 6-7 classes they ran and around 10-15 each race... so alot of waiting if your only in one class...

but whats the date for this ride? ill prob be there seen its only down the road.

I think its $30 for the first class and $10 for every subsequent class. You are only eligible for points in one class though and you have to nominate which class that would be when you register. You could also go on to the website and pre register through the fast sign on.
They are pretty good at running the event despite the large number of races that are held on the day

The Fells Farm events are awesome and really well run. The track keeps changing and just keeps getting better. If you havnt done one I would recommend that you give it ago.
Alot of people enter into 2 classes so the novice class normally ends up being the biggest as most of the intermediates will run this class too.
If I dont end up working to late on Sat night I will be there.

I want to give it a go, while I'm still a little bit young. Just trying to juggle everything with kids who ride/race.

Anyone know the details? Absolutely nothing online to help you aye. Sign on time etc...

telliman
28th March 2009, 13:05
generaly its sign on from 8-9.30, briefing at ten, warm up after that, then sit around for the day in the blistering sun! oh with a bit of racing, dust is almost always an issue up there so spare air filter isnt a silly idea, be prepared for some knarly armpump!
