Bumped into this site http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/ for oil drain valves while I was goggling oil drain pans.

Have no idea if they do it for bikes but it's a pretty clever upgrade.

Any thoughts?

I would not think that such a system would get rid of any gunk or bits in the bottom of the oil pan, whereas with the usual method it would flow out through the drain hole.

It's kind of cute, having it's little oil pee pee........ :baby:

My thoughts were, if anyone is having trouble doing a oil change on a bike then take it to the shop - if you are not up to an oil change then mechanical things should be left alone.

Mind you it would make it easier on the car........

It would definitely save you from getting oil on your hand as you unscrew the sump bolt.
I might consider it for a car but for a bike, using a spanner/socket is still easy

Might be alright on the US's roads but not ours ,read the safety bit, dont overtighten and drive carefully ,you may break it off on a speed bump .
