Yep, I certainly did. Great gig albeit a bit low on the volume front. A lot less destruction than what most Who fans would have been used to.

But those guys can give it some and Zak Starkey is a fecking great drummer.

The Fatt Family were up on the bank to the right hand side of the stage and enjoyed the music, beer and herb throughout the whole event. Loved Counting Crows as well, thought they played a great set.

Townsend played note perfect all night, still an amazing player even when his backline kept shitting itself (I would have HATED to have been his roadie last night).

Highlights were the classiscs (Wont Get Fooled Again, 5:15, Who Are You?) plus the fecking quality Tommy medley for the encore. Must watch that DVD again some time soon.

Only gripe was some two bob fecking loser sitting behind us who kept shouting out crap like 'Boring' and 'Glad thats over' after every song, mind you missus Max did throw him some abuse along the lines of 'Why dont you go annoy someone else you half cocked wanker'.

Anyroad upwards I thought they were brilliant, quality old fashioned bullshit less rock>

Did any of you lovelies get there and what did you fink?

My man went and he loved it. We didn't have enough $$ for us both to go (airfares from Wgtn etc, etc) and he's been a fan for years. Sounded like an awesome night!

Yep, Gunnyrob and I were there...

Hello Sailor weren't too bad as an opener, although next time they might want to practice some more, and Counting Crows had some good and bad moments. Why the didn't do Colour Blind is beyond me.

Then The Who came on...the first thought I had was not a good one. The big screens showed them coming on and when I looked at Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend the only thing I could think of was "Hell, they look OLD!". Then they hit into "I Can't Explain" and bugger me, the old bastards can still rock the house.

Good night with some seriously good rock music.

I was there too. Worked late and missed Hello Sailor who I would have liked to see and only saw half of Counting Crows. Didn't really know their music but it was quite laid back and ok. It was great to see Pete and Roger rocking away. They look old because they ARE old!! they must both be mid to late 60s I guess.

I filmed some on my camera until my card ran out of memory. have downloaded it to my computer and it played well but pretty amateurish cos I am new with digital stuff. Then I saved it to a flash drive and tried to play that back and it keeps stopping and then carrying on the way some youtube vids do. Any ideas.

Maybe your computer has the older USB 1.1 and is a bit slow to get the data from the flash drive (or the drive itself is a bit slow to deliver) Try copying the file to the hard drive and see how it goes

Was about 12 rows front center. Nice.

Thought it was an awesome concert. Missed Hello Sailor and was waiting for Counting Crows to get off so I could see Pete and the boys. Still going strong after all these years. Maybe Pete is getting old because the amp giving trouble would have been trashed in the good old days.

Thought Rogers vocals were as fantastic as ever, and the rest of the band rocked. All round a good night.

Was also impressed by the free buses put on between Britomart and the stadium. Saved me heaps is taxis:yes::yes:
