1999 TL1000S
$8500.00
Ohlins rear shock
Titanium Yoshimura 2 - 1 exhaust system
Neptune muffler
LSL rear sets

The bike was imported to NZ by a wholesaler, who I purchased the bike from. It had been crashed in Japan and needed replacement plastic items, headlights, radiator etc, (there was no serious damage). The bike is now pretty much mint looking, they only sign of ever being crashed are some scratches on the indicators and mirrors. The plastics have all been resprayed but I haven't bothered replacing the decals because I think they look shithouse.

The bike has a pretty radical looking 2 - 1 exhaust system, (there is a picture in my gallery). It goes like a scalded cat but to get the best out of the exhaust system would require a power commander to be installed.

It is also fitted with an Ohlins rear shock, which eliminates many of the nasty handling characteristics that TL's have been criticised for.

I was holding it for someone that wanted it but things haven't worked out so I'm putting back on the market for anyone who is interested.

The Ohlins was on the bike when I purchased it. I think it is next to impossible to get one cheap, maybe on Ebay?
